Barbie I Can be...Academy
The I Can Be Academy hosted by Barbie, gives girls a chance to explore the different career paths Barbie has taken as well as new careers and aspirations that might be of interest to girls today. Barbie has 125 careers – everything ranging from a rock star to a pizza chef. The Barbie I Can Be Academy takes place at the Bata Shoe Museum on March 20 from 10am to 5pm and March 21 from 12pm to 5pm and includes:
• Career “activity stations” where girls can physically try on different roles and learn first-hand about a variety of careers including surfer, vet and racecar driver
• At each station, girls collect a “badge” and upon completion of the Academy walk the “Career Walk of Fame” where Barbie will grant them their diploma
• Along with the activity stations, young girls and adults can walk down memory lane at a Barbie historical career exhibit, looking at all of the careers Barbie has had over the years
• A candy station where girls and their parents can enjoy some fun treats
